  While the principles of the ac susceptibility technique are relatively simple and well understood there are still numerous possible variations in construction of practical susceptometer devices. The design of AcSuS1000, the sample/sensor core of our susceptometry, provides inherent thermal stability and highly suppressed offset voltage, which enable the unsurpassed sensitivity of our integrated measuring systems. In order to comply with the demands of our customers we offer two models built around the same basic AcSuS1000 sensor unit. Each of these has two possible temperature ranges. In all four cases the same sample/sensor core and the same superior performance are maintained.

 

1. Two option levels: Integrated measuring system (CryoBIND/IS) or the "cold console" (CryoBIND/CC)
The complete ac susceptometer system, CryoBIND/IS, consists of a "cold console", CryoBIND/CC, and the measuring and control electronics run by our own software. The cold console, CryoBIND/CC, comprises the sensor unit CryoBIND1000 in an appropriate Dewar with the vacuum lines, valves and gauges, sample manipulator, and a vacuum pump. As an alternative to the complete system we offer CryoBIND/CC as an independent unit to those who prefer to use their own general purpose instruments (lock-in, DVM, an interfaced computer and appropriate software).

2. Two temperature ranges: liquid nitrogen (*LN) and liquid helium (*LH)
Both CryoBIND/IS and CryoBIND/CC can be ordered as a model which covers either the temperature range above liquid nitrogen (78K-300K; models CryoBIND/ISLN and CryoBIND/CCLN, respectively) or a model which covers the full range above liquid helium (4.2K-300K; models CryoBIND/ISLH and CryoBIND/CCLH, respectively).

Available models
As explained above there are four basic models, CryoBIND/ISLN, CryoBIND/ISLH, CryoBIND/CCLN and CryoBIND/CCLH that span the range of AcSuS products for ac susceptibility measurements. Numerous additional options are available on request.
